Isobel Harper

I am an Integrative counsellor, which means that I adapt my working style to meet the needs of each individual client. My primary training approach was Psychodynamic. My speciality is bereavement, loss, attachments and separation.

I am a kind, gentle and caring person and I provide a non-judgemental, calm and confidential environment to allow my clients to explore their feelings and issues.  I will not give advice or tell you what to do.  You are the expert on your own life but I will offer the space for you to explore your feelings and to be heard.

By exploring your own inner feelings, values and beliefs, I believe that we all have the inner resources to challenge our beliefs, gain the clarity we want and to move forward making more informed decisions.

I work with adult individuals and couples.

BSC (Hons), Dip Counselling Practice, CRUSE Accredited Bereavement Counsellor, Certificate in Adlerian Counselling, Certificate in Supervision, Certificate in Working with Couples.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am bound by a code of ethics and practice. I ensure that I keep my professional development current and relevant.

I am also a qualified supervisor offering supervision to other counsellors either individually or in groups.
